RCY Christmas Party

We held Red Cross Youth Bataan Chapter first Christmas party yesterday, December 22. Amongst 350+ members, only less than 30 attended. Big difference, eh? However, it was still fun. The day was filled with lots of outdoor activities. I wasn't able to join much because I was in the kitchen with Abe and Sammy to finish cooking for lunch yet, it was fun. We had the usual exchanged gifts. I got the book MacArthur. I think it's from Maja.

After the party, we went to our usual tambayan, The Beanery to have some coffee and sang a birthday song for Maja. Today's her birthday!

I ordered this Caramel Macchiato. All I can say is... :D

Our group likes coffee rather than to drink alcohol. haha~ Anyway, I have to go. I still have night duty in Red Cross. *yawns*I'm so tired!

Million Volunteer Run

I already got the photos from December 4’s Million Volunteer Run (MVR). It was the first fun run that Red Cross Bataan had. And hopefully, it’ll be an annual event. As a member of Red Cross Youth (RCY) and of course, a volunteer, we decided to meet at the plaza around 4 am. And obviously, it was sooo early! Heck, I even slept super early prior to the event so I won’t be late and I regret that I did it. Haha~ Anyway, we had a short meeting around 4:30 til 5 5:00 for the designation. RCY was assigned for the water station. We had three stations for the event. And I was in the last station together with the rest of the Red Cross volunteers. Anyway, I was with Sammy, Gillian and the two new member of RCY and sorry for my poor memory, I forgot their name. XD The program proper had started around 5:30. As usual, there was prayer, opening remarks few stretching and an exercise before the run! Haha~ The run had started at 6 am.

Together with RCY from Batches 15 and 16

Me and the rest of the RCY rested at the bench but after 10 minutes, we’re all surprised that the armies who had participated were already in the finish line. We were like @.@ when we saw them. Totally surprised. Let’s move on.. A member of RCY won the first place in women’s division. Hail RCY! ^^
